                                                     SUNNY'S ADVENTURES.

Once upon a time, in a far away country, there lived a little girl. She was always happy, and the hole town stared calling her Miss Sunshine, or Sunny for short. Sunny liked doing many things, mostly stuff that in evolved using her mind and hands at once.

Sunny had lots of friends, for it was easy for her to make them. But she had one friend that she rely liked. Down by the river that ran right by the town, lived a old widow called Widow Beth. Every Thursday, Sunny would go down to the river, and spent the day with Widow Beth.

Widow Beth taught Sunny many things. When Sunny first stared coming, Beth taught her how to draw. It took patients, but Sunny learned it. When she got a little older, Beth taught her how to make and patch things. When she got a little older, Beth tough her to read music. When she got a little older Beth taught her how to paint. Sunny loved her lessons with Widow Beth, she was always kind and patient with Sunny.

One day Sunny went down to Widow Beth's house, she found the place empty. Sunny looked around but could not not find Widow Beth anywhere. Sunny heart was crushed. Widow Beth was so dear to her.

Sunny went back home. She gathered up some stuff, put them in her bag, and headed out. She was going to find Beth, If it was the last thing she did. Sunny walked down the rode heading toured the forest. Sunny new the widow Beth goes there some times, to gather berries and nuts. maybe she had fallen and hurt her self.

As Sunny walked deeper into the forest, she herd some one crying. Sunny left the path to investigate. When she got closer to the crying, she saw a little boy sitting under a tree crying. She saw papers scatter all around him. Sunny also saw a small cottage a little ways away.

"What's wrong?"  Sunny asked the boy.

"Where fixing to move." The boy said " And I was trying to draw my home so I will always remember it. But I just can't do it right." and he burst into more sobs.

Sunny looked at the little house, and she thought for a second then said " You now what? I think I could draw the house for you."

"Would you?" the boy asked.
"Sure." Sunny answered. She sat down by the boy toked up the pencil and draw the house and forest. When the boy saw it thanked her and ran to the house, to show his mother.

Sunny smiled to her self, she toked up her bag and stared looking for Widow Beth again. She walked and walked, tell she came to a meadow. It was felled with lots of flowers, and right in the middle of the meadow was a little girl. She was wearing a beautiful white dress.

As Sunny got closer, she saw that she had a doll on her lap, and she was looking frustrated at some clothe made out of the same stuff her dress was made of. Sunny walked to the girl "Hello." She said.

"Hi" The girl said gloomy.

"What's wrong?" Sunny asked the little girl.

"My aunt is getting marred tomorrow." the girl said " But mother will not let little Anne come, ( The girl held up the doll.) Enlist I can make her a new dress. But I don't know how to sew a dress." And she broke into tears.

"I can make a dress for Anne." Sunny said. She sat down and made a dress. The little girl was so happy, the she gave Sunny a flute her older brother had made, with a notes to a song tied around it, and she gave Sunny a kiss on the check, then ran off to show her mom.

Sunny got up and looked around, she didn't know were to go next. She just stared going one direction and hoped it would lead her to Widow Beth. The path took her back into the forest. After awhile, she saw clearing in front of her. When she got to the edge of the forest.

Right in front of her was a was a huge grog. There was no way Sunny could get over it. Sunny bite her bottom lip and thought. She was in so deep of thought, that she did not notice that a creature just landed next to her.

"If you wish to cross, you must give me something, other then moss." the creature said startling Sunny. She turned and looked. Sunny saw what looked like a giant Sphynx,(a hairless cat.) But this one had wings and tattoos all over her body.

"Pardon, but what did you say?" Sunny asked trying to keep fear out of her voice.

The Sphynx sat down and repeated "If you wish to cross, you must give me something, other then moss."

Sunny looked at the Sphynx, then down at the grown. After thinking for a moment, she reached into her bag and pulled out her sketch book, then she pulled out some paint. Sunny sat down on the grown and stared painting the Sphynx.

The cat kept looking at Sunny, and said "If you take long, I well haft to through you in the death pawn."
Sunny did not let this sidetracked her from her painting. When she finished, she put her stuff back in her bag, the she showed her painting to the Sphynx.

The cat stood up and took the painting from Sunny and study it. "This well do. I well take you." the Sphynx said, then she bent down and leted Sunny climb on her back. Then she flow over the grog. It was on of the best things Sunny had ever know, to bad it was over so quickly, thought Sunny.

On the other side, Sunny stared walking again. She walked and walked, tell she came to a big mountain . Sunny stared climbing up. When she got pretty high, she stopped to catch her breath. Well Sunny was sitting on a rock, she herd growling behind her.Sunny jump up spun around. Standing behind her was a Giant.

Sunny had read about Giants. They were mean, and often ate people. But they were also very stupide, and could easily be tricked.

Sunny did not no exactly what she was going to do, excepted run. She ran back down the mountain, tripping and getting back up. She ran around a big rock, and took a minute to catch her breath and to think.

She could not think of a thing, she racked her brain for something that she had read in a book, that would stop a Giant, but she couldn't. Sunny could here the Giant approaching.

Music. Sunny remember that Giants would fall asleep, when they herd music. She scrambled in her bag, looking for the flute the little girl gave her. Sunny found it and stared playing the song that was tide around it, right when the Giant rounded the rock.

The Giant stopped, when he herd the music. Sunny kept playing and the Giant stared to sway. Sunny kept playing, tell the Giant fell on his back. Sunny didn't stick around, she ran rest of the way down. And she kept running tell she had run out of breath and hade to stop and catch it.

Sunny was tired, frustrated, sad. She flopped down and stared crying. Sunny didn't know how long she sat there, before she herd some one approach her, and she felt a hand on her shoulder.

"What's wrong? dear one." A kind voice asked her.

Sunny was still crying, she did not raise her head but she said "I cant find my best friend!!"

"You mean Widow Beth?" The kind voice asked.

Sunny raised her head at this, and saw that the voice belong to the king, that lived on the mountain.
She was so surprised, that it took a minute to find her voice. When she did, she said "How did you know about Beth?"

"I know all my little children." The King said.

"You do?" Sunny asked.

"Yes I do." The King continued "I know that you have ben looking for Beth, that you were kind and used your gift to help those children."

The King stopped for a minute, he took Sunny by her arm and they stared walking through the forest. Before he continued. "You also used your wits, when you were in trouble."

"What about Beth?" Sunny asked.

"Widow Beth is up at my castle, she's home Sunny." The King said "One day you well see her again, but for know, you should just use the gift that she gave you."

Sunny thought, and walked with the King. They kept quite, tell they got to the road, that led back to Sunny's home.

Sunny looked at the King and said "Thank you, Your majesty. I well try to do the stuff, that Beth taught me." She gave him her famous smile and skipped down the road.

Sunny never did find her friend, but she had found something more importuned. She found her self, she found what she wanted to do when she grow up. And most of all, she found a new friend, and she was never going to forget him, The King.

THE END.
