Carly sat quietly watching SHERK with her little brother Jimmy. The rest of the family was helping some friends move. Jimmy had woken up sick, so she had to say home with him. Carly didn't mind, she could entertain herself tell they came home.
It as almost lunch time so Carly started to cook a few potatoes for her and Jimmy, tho he most likely wouldn't eat much.
While the potatoes were frying, Carly went into the next room to watch SHERK. She stopped short when she smelled something burning, Carly spun around and saw the kitchen ablaze.
Carly heart stopped short. She sent a quick prayer to GOD for help, instantly she heard a small voice say "It's all right little one." She turned around, grabbed Jimmy and her cellphone and ran out of the house.
Running as fast as she could, Carly went up to the gate. setting Jimmy down, Carly called nine- one-one.
A pleasant woman voice said." 911 whats your emergency."
"My...my house, it's on fire!" Carly said trying to calm herself.
"What's your name dear?" The woman asked " And where do you live."
"My name is Carly Toner." Carly answered her voice settling " I live at 167 Howler Way, cross ST RiverWood."
"OK dear, is your parents there?" The woman asked Carly.
"No, no there not here, it's just me and my little brother." Carly said.
" The fire department is on it's way." The Woman said " Are you two ok?"
"Yes yes we're fine." Carly posed then asked " Can I hang up and call my mom."
"Yes dear." The woman said.
Carly hung up and called her mom. She told her all that had happen. She then hung up when she herd the sirens.
Fire and police cars starred to pull up at the house, which was now fully on fire. Two cops came up to Carly and asked " Are you the one that called?" Carly nodded her head "Is anyone in there?" Carly just shook her head again.
"Are you all right?" The other one asked.
"Yea were fine." Carly breathed picking up Jimmy. "Are mom is on the way." The two officers asked a few more questions, Confronting her some.
Carly and Jimmy watch as the fire fighters put out the fire. All Carly could do was watch. Time went by, finely a white mini van pulled up, out jumped Carly's mom and her older brother and sister, Toby and Lexi.
Carly setted Jimmy down and he ran into her moms arms. Carly shacking and crying, a little went up to her also, and the hole family hugged.
"I herded him mom." Carly whispered in her moms ear."I herd GOD talk to me."
"Wonderfully hony." He mom choked " I'm so glad your all right!"
When Carly caught her breath she told the hole family, all that had happened The house was gone, so was there stuff. But Carly wasn't scared. She new wat ever happened, the LORD would be there to help.
